Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
3 X Lime-repollard at previous pollard points 3 x lime trees at side of drive and alongside Ashford Road - to re-pollard to previous pollard points. This will bring the trees back to a maintainable size. Cypress in the rear garden - to fell the tree. Its mass is too large for its location, it causes excessive shading to the two adjacent properties, its falling needles cause a nuisance and it is in danger of damaging the original rear brick garden wall. It has also caused excessive "heave" in the garden which severely limits the amenity of this space. The plan is to replace this tree with a number of more suitable trees as part of a newly landscaped garden (the number and species of the new trees have yet to be determined)
