It's has been recorded in historic V.T.A that the Bhutan Pine has a dysfunctional structure, nevertheless this tree offers a high visual tree amenity value to this area. I feel that in its location, this tree with some reduction and bracing works could be retained.Recommended works: Reduce crown height by 2.5m, and spread by 1.7m. Target prune to reduce canopy weight on the more dense areas of crown. Implement and install Cobra Bracing system to reduce further stem failure.
