Gavea The Ridge Little Baddow Chelmsford Essex CM3 4RZ
Within W1-T2 (on map) Hornbeam old coppice (cluster)- located in the rear garden, over the stream/bridge and situated off centre/right near the rear access gate; coppice to ground level 3 trunks to the left side and front centre and reduce the rest of the co-dominant trunks by 5m approx' half height. Reason: to coppice all co-dominant trunks due to continued die-back in crown and also is good practice to re-coppice previously coppiced trees. Safety is an issue

It also has hollow cavities in the upper crown; T1 - Oak (rear garden, overhanging a public footpath) - Crown reduction of 6m from upper crown - Reason: The tree is dangerous in our opinion, with cavities and rot.
