T1 Silver Birch- Selectively prune back crown on garden side by approx 2-2.5m, prune lateral spread on right hand side of the canopy (as viewed from the house) by approx 2m. Re - shape right hand shoulder of crown. Thin canopy by approx 15%. Remove deadwood>50mm diameter through entire canopy. Remove all debris. Reason: Continuation of tree management to ensure it retains its shape.The tree has reacted vigorously to previous pruning and has elongate dense re growth,The tree is oversized for its surrounding area. 5 year management plan.
