Proposal
G1 Copper Beech in rear garden - pollard to a height of 10metres. Remove all branches above and away from the main trunk of the tree that are not at least a third of the originating branch. Reason: To ensure there is a clearance of no less than two meters from the walls and roof of neighbours at No.8a. Create a raised canopy and reduced crown, reducing shade cast by the tree, while promoting healthy future growth and canopy symmetry away from our neighbour's house and both gardens. Removing risks of branch failure over our neighbour's property and enable future maintenance of the tree in a safer condition. T3 Copper Beech in front garden - crown lift by 3.5metres and thin by up to 15%. Reason: Prevent branches striking shed roof, or nearby passing traffic and pedestrians. Allowing light through the remaining branches, reduce weight on heavy limbs, removing dead and damaged or crossing branches that are rubbing and wearing.
