Planning application
Land North Of Westering Horse And Groom Lane Chelmsford Essex
Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
Ash (within W1) - Fell - Reason: due to dieback, potentially caused due to waterlogged ground surrounding tree throughout much of the year. Replanting not required due to many young aspens (poplus tremula) already growing to take its place beneath tree in woodland belt. Various Aspen - remove lower branches to allow more light into woodland floor. Scrub clearance to create woodland pathways through tree belt allowing light to the ground to encourage wild flowers and grasses, clear old tree stumps.
