T15/ T16 - Oaks - 2m crown reduction/2.5m if required on side laterals and remove major deadwood - Reasons: General maintenance as they are substantially overgrown. Work recommended by tree surgeon (Ingatestone Tree Surgery).
Granted Trees 4 docs -
Two Oaks Pennys Lane Margaretting Ingatestone Essex CM4 0HA
T2 Oak (T3 on map) -Prune the lowest branch over Penny's Lane back to its previous pruning point- reducing the length of the branch by approximately 2m. Once this is achieved. To use the length of the branch that is left (5m) as a reference measure to follow around the crown reducing the rest of the side crown to match this length and thus balance the crown. To follow this course of action will mean approximately 5m removed from the northern branches. 2m removed from the south and 4m from the western crown. Also to remove a maximum of 3m off the top. All cutting will be to live pruning points in line with the recommendations of BS 3998:2010. Reason: To alleviate the crown weight and spread so as to lessen the potential of branch breakout and branch snap.

T3 Oak (T2 on map) - Prune the crown at live growing points and crown reduction by approximately 6-7m of branch length from the furthest extended parts of the crown and 50% of its volume. This being the branches on the northern and western sections of crown. Reason: Subsidence damage.
