Greensward Adjacent 51 - 65 The Priory Writtle Chelmsford Essex

Granted Chelmsford 18/05126/TPO Trees

Works: Trees

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

T1 - Wellingtonia - Greensward adjacent to 51-65 The Priory - 1) To remove all deadwood throughout the crown of the tree. 2) To remove or reduce those laterals displaying visible signs of hazard beam cracks. At 2.5m (W), 5m (W), 10m (S), 12m (N) and 22m (S). 3) To reduce lateral to the north at approx. 12m by approx 2-3m to reduce loading and wind-sail on lateral. 4) To selectively remove crossing branches that would fail if subjected to further abrasion. All pruning cuts to be made at suitable growth points. Reason: Improve the health of the tree and reduce the danger of injury due to falling branches and debris from the tree which is located to the side of a green used by children as a play area.
