Planning application
90 Church End Lane Runwell Wickford SS11 7JG
Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
T5 Oak: remove dead wood and thin canopy by 30% . T6 Ash: remove dead creepers from the trunk and branches, reduce spread of crown by 2 metres to even the canopy which has grown towards the sun in the south. T7 Oak: remove dead and damaged branches, reduce spread of crown by 3 metres to allow appropriate clearance for utility cables and to safely manage growth/size. Reasons: ongoing tree maintenance programme, allow more light through the tree, to ensure tree stays safe and healthy and that the size is managed for the long term.

T1 - Robinia Pseudoacacia - Prune by approx. 3m in height, removing dead/dying branches in the upper canopy. Prune the south eastern elevation of the upper canopy by approx 3m. To remove deadwood over 35mm and over 0.5 metre in length to achieve 2.5 m crown clearance from the building - Reason: For good arboricultural practice, to manage the tree and reduce building overhang.
