Planning application

P/25/2177/2

33 School Lane, Woodhouse, Leicestershire, LE12 8UJ

Decided Charnwood Tree works Conservation Area

Proposal

We want to fell a large ash tree which is near the boundary fence between 34 and 37 School Lane. It has decay due to Dryad's saddle fungus and weak unions. We have had the tree coppiced once before hoping to arrest the decay but it has worsened.

As published by the council, reference P/25/2177/2

About trees applications

How this application type works

Tree applications cover work to protected trees: those under a tree preservation order need consent for pruning or felling, and trees in a conservation area need six weeks written notice before work starts. The council assesses the amenity value of the tree and can refuse consent, approve it with conditions, or in conservation areas make a preservation order in response.
