The tree is entirely hollow, from below ground level and to beyond 4m above ground level. Work is to retain tree but drastically minimise strain on heavily decayed trunk LCC tree number 317325; Tillia x europea - Epinal Way/Ashby Road roundabout, Loughborough. The tree has been coppiced on several occasions, work is to carry out a repeat of routine maintenance.
