Proposal
This Section 54 application is to seek a variation in a condition imposed on the above scheme. Condition 4 states: "The development hereby permitted shall not be commenced until the proposed retaining walls requiring Technical Approval, as specified in the Roads (NI) Order 1993, has been approved and constructed in accordance with CG300 Technical Approval of Highways Structures: Volume 1: Design Manual for Roads and Bridges". We would like to state agreement with DFI that the Condition could be: "The parts of the development which are specifically dependent upon the construction of a retaining wall which is subject to Technical Approval, as specified in the Roads (NI) Order 1993, hereby permitted shall not be commenced until the proposed retaining wall design has achieved "Approval in Principle" (AP) in accordance with CG300 Technical Approval of Highways Structures: Volume 1: Design Manual for Roads and Bridges."
