REMOVAL OF THE EXISTING SLATE ROOF COVERING IN ORDER TO INSTALL A PERMEABLE ROOF MEMBRANE. THE EXISTING SLATES ARE TO BE SET ASIDE AND RE-USED AND REPLACED LIKE FOR LIKE WHERE NECESSARY. RE-POINTING OF THE EASTERN ELEVATION, TOGETHER WITH THE RE-RENDERING OF THE SOUTHERN ELEVATION. SAMPLES OF THE EXISTING MORTARS AND RENDERS WILL BE TAKEN FROM SITE TO ESTABLISH THE MAKEUP OF THE ORIGINAL MIX
