THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT WILL BE SEEN AS AN EXTENSION TO THE EXISTING BUILDING AND WILL UTILISE THE OPEN SPACE AREA ABOVE THE EXISTING SLURRY LAGOON. THE PROPOSED EXTENSION WILL BE OF AN AGRICULTURAL NATURE AND WILL PROVIDE ADDITIONAL CUBICLE HOUSING AND A COVERED FEED AREA FOR DAIRY COWS. THE PROPOSED EXTENSION WILL BE SIMILAR IN APPEARANCE TO THE EXISTING FARM BUILDINGS IN TERMS OF HEIGHT, MATERIALS AND COLOUR. THE PROPOSED EXTENSION WILL BE CONSTRUCTED OF A STEEL PORTAL FRAME. THE ROOF WILL BE CONSTRUCTED OF CORRUAGTED FIBRE CEMENT ROOF SHEETS WITH PLASTIC UPVC RAINWATER GOODS. WALLS WILL BE CONSTRUCTED FROM PRECAST CONCRETE PANELS AND ABOVE WILL BE METAL VENTILATED CLADDING. DOORS WILL BE CONSTRUCTED OF A GALVANISED METAL FRAME WITH SHEETED METAL PANELS. THE INTERNAL FLOOR AREA WILL BE CONSTRUCTED OF PRECAST CONCRETE SLATS TO ALLOW SLURRY TO DROP DOWN DIRECTLY INTO THE SLURRY LAGOON BELOW
