Pantyffynnon Farm, Carmarthen, SA32 8BH
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within five years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
A single steel portal-framed agricultural building, 27.43 m x 12.19 m on plan (90 ft x 40 ft), with the 90 ft long axis running approximately north to south (the long axis bears about N9 degrees E, i.e. 009 degrees, with the east door-line facing approximately 099 degrees). The structure comprises a 33-ft clear-span portal frame on the west side and a 7-ft self-supported lean-to on the east (mast-facing) side. Total roofed footprint 334 sq m. Eaves 4.50 m, ridge 6.13 m, roof pitch 15 degrees. The building is divided internally into six bays of 4.572 m centres, separated by concrete sleeper partition walls to 2.4 m. The end bay (at the south end) houses a small-scale on-farm feed-mixing area with two sealed cereal bins; the remaining five bays provide storage for bulk grain and dry fodder. Access is via six galvanised steel roller shutter doors (one per bay) on the east 33 ft door-line, 3.5 m wide by 4.0 m clear opening, sheltered by the lean-to overhang and facing the existing telecoms mast, with a personnel door inset within each shutter to the left-hand (south) side and openable from inside
