Proposed Works and Justification for Magnolia Tree:A one-off reduction in overall crown height by approximately 1.0-1.5 metres, subject to detailed assessment and advice from a competent and qualified Tree Surgeon, to maintain tree health and structure. In addition, a reduction of branches overhanging the adjacent path and roadway is proposed to prevent potential contact with high vehicles (HGVs) and ensure highway safety.It is also requested that the consent includes ongoing annual maintenance, limited to a 0.5-1.0 metre reduction in height and light crown trimming as necessary, to manage regrowth, maintain clearance, and preserve the tree in good condition over time.
