Granted Cardiff 25/01491/WTCA Works to Trees Conservation Area

Works: Trees

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within five years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

T9 Hybrid Black Poplar - monitor development of crown every 2 years with a view to undertaking some form of minor crown reduction on the eastern side, the extent of which will be clarified in a further notification. Any branches touching the college building to be shortened to abate the actionable nuisance, cutting back to the first suitable pruning point that gives clearance. T11 Beech - Shorten lateral branches extending towards adjacent building to provide 2m clearance from structure and undertake climbing inspection to determine presence of possible fungal infection in cavity at 5m.
