Works: Trees
Refused. Only the applicant can appeal, within the statutory time limit, and a revised scheme can be submitted instead.
Proposal
T9 - Austrian Pine - Reduce overhanging crown to provide 2m clearance with roof of 244 Hills Road. Reason - The proposed works are required to mitigate the ongoing interaction between the tree and the adjacent property. The tree currently contributes significant levels of organic debris, resulting in repeated blockages to the guttering system, which necessitates regular maintenance. and the tree casts substantial shading over the roof of the property, leading to the accumulation of moss. Over time, this may contribute to the deterioration of the roof coverings and associated materials.
