Acer pseudoplatanus (Sycamore) (Plan H tree no. 49) - Fell. Report from Richardson's Tree Surgery: We have been monitoring the slow decline of this Sycamore for several years, routinely taking out the dead wood when necessary. This growing season, we have observed a quickening of the crown decline with a larger quantity of branches dying off and the rest of the crown being sparser with smaller leaves. We now feel that the time has come to remove the tree. Its position is within a small front garden area and we therefore hope to replace it with a tree of a more suitable scale such as Amelanchier lamarckii or Sorbus aucuparia.

T1 - Cherry tree - Reduce crown by about 3m, or, if this is not possible reduce the crown where it overhangs 67 Hemingford Road by a similar amount. Reason - This would reduce the overshadowing of the roof of 67 Hemingford Road and also prevent branches impinging on telephone wires connecting to 65 Hemingford Road.
