Planning application

44 Conduit Head Road Cambridge Cambridgeshire CB3 0EY

Granted Cambridge 24/0990/TTPO Works to TPO trees

Works: Trees

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

x1 mature Crataegus Common Hawthorn tree - to reduce height to 4m to reduce risk of branch/stem failure resulting in structural damage to the property, to reduce overbearing. Total reduction of 3m. This is a multi stem tree with visable stem decay at (BH) and at ground level. The stems are showing signs of bark blistering and discolouration. The upper canopy has become thin with dead branches visable. The canopy is acting as a wind sail and with the load bearing on the weak stems this tree is very likely to fail and cause structural damage to the property. This work will also re-balance the tree.
