Trees T1: Row of beech trees near the southern boundary of and belonging to 1 Hedgerley Close The height of the trees needs to be reduced by 2-3m, taking it back to the height of the roofline of no. 2, consistent with previous work. The side branches need to be cut back by 0.5-1.25m, also consistent with previous work. Note that no. 1 is presently for sale. Written permission for the proposed work was obtained from the seller via their estate agent (Ed Meyer, Savills: 01223 347261 email 18 July 2023). T2: Yew tree belonging to 1 Hedgerley Close. This is a very large tree that extends over the access drive to no. 2 - reduce the upper section laterally by 1.5-2m would be beneficial to mitigate the risk of subsidence and to improve the appearance off the tree, as it is currently quite lopsided.
