Proposal

Remove sections of the existing ceiling to the Basement and at Ground Floor level, including the underside of the staircase and replace with new 60-minute fire rated ceiling, removal of the partitions to the Basement and to the staircase at Ground Floor Level and replace with new 30-minute fire rated partitions. Supply and install new fire doors and frames to these partitions, replacement of the fire alarm and emergency lighting, small power and lighting to the new ceiling, addition of a new kitchen tea point and blocking up of the 2 no. windows to the rear of the basement forming lightwells.
