Works: Trees

Refused. Only the applicant can appeal, within the statutory time limit, and a revised scheme can be submitted instead.

Proposal

G1 - comprising of 3 Willows (T1, T2 & T3 on attached plan): fell and treat/remove stumps to prevent regrowth. Reason: to prevent further damage to the sheet piling that is supporting the bank of the leat and enable the damage to be repaired. The felling is also necessary to remove trees that have significant defects that require them to be heavily pollarded and regularly maintained to avoid the risk of injury/harm. The felling will also remove trees that are inappropriate for the location in which they are growing. Proposed planting: To plant 3 replacement trees the species.
