Works: Trees
Part of this application was approved and part refused. The decision notice on the council portal sets out which is which.
Proposal
(T1) Acacia to be felled due to excessive growth. There are a few branches dying back causing concern as they might fall. Stump will be left at 1 metre tall allowing new growth. (T2) Eucalyptus to be pruned by 1 metre. Eucalyptus is getting tall and needs to be maintained. (T3) Pine tree to be felled to give more room to trees around it. Pine tree is growing underneath Eucalyptus causing trees to fight for space and grow abnormally. (T4) plum tree to be reduced by 1 metre for general maintenance. This will help tree to thrive and grow more balanced.

T1 - Cherry tree - Reduce crown by about 3m, or, if this is not possible reduce the crown where it overhangs 67 Hemingford Road by a similar amount. Reason - This would reduce the overshadowing of the roof of 67 Hemingford Road and also prevent branches impinging on telephone wires connecting to 65 Hemingford Road.
