The beech tree is located on the right hand side of the parking area which is just beyond the gateway. Since the reduction in 2022, the tree has grown and once again reaches across the drive almost touching the thatched roof and is blocking light from the cottage. The tree is currently approx. 10m in height and consent is sought for an approx. 30% reduction in the height, making the final height no less than 7m. The reduction at the sides would be no less than 1.5-2.0m.
