T1 & T4 Removal T2 & T3 Crown Reduction (4m) T1,T2,T3,T4 Acer Pseudoplatanus. Please see sketch plan attached. Reason for Removal The trees proposed for removal have been assessed in accordance with BS 5837:2012. They exhibit canopy dominance that results in significant overshadowing of adjacent trees, restricting light and growing space and leading to suppression of the neighbouring specimens. This is contrary to good arboricultural practice, which requires that retained trees have adequate room to develop a balanced, sustainable crown. Selective removal will reduce competition, improve light availability, and support the long-term health and viability of the remaining tree group in line with BS 5837 guidance on future growth potential and group management.

There are 6 trees which i believe are sycamores that align the fence in my neighbours garden, they are very overgrown and have not been cut back for over about 5 years and neighbours who used to previously cut back refuse to do so. They cover majority of my back garden so will need trimming back up to 3m ideally so i can get some light in the back of my garden during summer.
