Proposal
T1 Triple stemmed mature Ash tree - East side canopy spread extends across two neighbouring gardens. Reduce radial spread on the east, south (not west side this time) to clear lines by 3m max leaving 4m width, final radial spread taken centrally from the vertical stump line - in-between the stems. Lift to 4m *from garden elevations, around the three sides, removing new stem growth and low end loading only. Union at base appears strong and well ribbed, with no open voids, tension cracks or rot. It has been left unbalanced as a result of neighbours pruning overhang from across the rear boundary. Internal density has been well and evenly thinned with minimal reaction growth. What happens while it is decided
The process from here
This application is with Bradford for determination. The council publicises it, consults neighbours and technical bodies where required, and weighs the responses against local and national planning policy.
The statutory target is eight weeks for most applications and thirteen for major development, though extensions of time are common. Comments carry most weight while the case is undecided, so check the council portal for the deadline if you want to respond.
About this record
Reading the register
This page mirrors an entry on the statutory planning register that Bradford is required to keep. The published feed for this record does not state which type of application it is, which is common for older entries and for some council systems; the register entry on the council portal will say, alongside the case officer and any consultation dates.
Every planning application follows the same broad path: submission, validation, publicity, then a decision by officers or committee. Our guide to planning application types explains the common types and what each can approve.
