Proposal
T1 Ash - Remove. T2 Ash - Remove. There are also several smaller saplings we would like to remove, some of which we would relocate to the opposite side of the footpath. They are a mixture of ash, hawthorn, holly and laurel bush. The total area to be removed/relocated would be 4m x 4.5m. We would then be erecting a 2m high retaining wall with pocket planting and a wooden framed carport with a living roof. We have already planted two oak trees and a silver birch further up the garden to replace the ones to be removed. We have also planed a 9m length of native hedgerow to benefit and encourage the visiting wildlife and intend to plant further native trees within the protected area.

T1 and T2 Sycamore, Remove and replace to allow improvements to tennis pavilion. The trees form an essential green buffer to the edge of the canal within the Conservation Area and I would advise that T2 Sycamore is removed initially which will allow the pavilion to be moved closer to the institute and retain T1 Sycamore which may be clear of the new building and could possibly be retained subject or not to minor pruning.
