Works: Trees
Decided. The decision notice on the council portal carries the outcome in full, including any conditions.
Proposal
T1 Willow - Fell - The tree has been declining over the past few years and, in our opinion, does now not look it is going to recover. This tree is within the childrens area and, if left to decline further, could potentially become and health and safety hazard. The volunteers have done a remarkable job of improving these gardens over the years and intend to remove this tree and replant another tree in its' place to maintain the tree cover. Given the trees location and potential hazard, consideration of the application before the six week period would be appreciated if possible.

About trees applications
How this application type works
Tree applications cover work to protected trees: those under a tree preservation order need consent for pruning or felling, and trees in a conservation area need six weeks written notice before work starts. The council assesses the amenity value of the tree and can refuse consent, approve it with conditions, or in conservation areas make a preservation order in response.
