Planning application

Greyhound Inn 23 Tong Lane Tong Bradford West Yorkshire BD4 0RR

Decided Bradford 24/02501/CPN Work to tree(s) in Conservation Area

Works: Trees

Decided. The decision notice on the council portal carries the outcome in full, including any conditions.

Proposal

T1 - Crown lift to 5.5 metres above ground level which would undeniably remove any concern of punching pedestrians into the road, this also would clear any covering of the street lamp currently inefficient due to being covered, and remove anything that currently impedes farm traffic which rely on using Tong Lane. T2 - Remove 3 limbs shown in the annotated photo. Closer to a neighbouring house causing damage to roof tiles, there are small limbs which if removed would not affect the look of the tree but remove all risk of any further damage to the house.

About trees applications

How this application type works

Tree applications cover work to protected trees: those under a tree preservation order need consent for pruning or felling, and trees in a conservation area need six weeks written notice before work starts. The council assesses the amenity value of the tree and can refuse consent, approve it with conditions, or in conservation areas make a preservation order in response.
