Reduce the height of the crown by up to 6m, leaving a final height of approximately 9m, pruning back to suitable growth points where appropriate. The proposed reduction is intended to continue the management of the tree, allowing its retention whilst maintaining the level of risk as low as reasonably practicable. The final extent of pruning will be determined following closer inspection of the cavity during the climbing operation.
