The process from here
Permission has been granted, usually subject to conditions listed on the decision notice, some of which must be discharged before work starts. The decision notice on the council portal sets out exactly what was approved.
Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses. Neighbours cannot appeal a grant; challenging one means judicial review of how the decision was made, within tight time limits.
About full applications applications
How this application type works
A full application seeks permission for a complete, detailed proposal in one go: siting, design, access and landscaping are all fixed at this stage. It is the standard route for new buildings, conversions and changes of use. The statutory target is eight weeks for smaller schemes and thirteen weeks for major development, though complex cases often take longer by agreement.

T1. Oak - Positioned at the front entrance of the site on left side of driveway entrance as you are looking from Yorktown Road. The lower section of the canopy is low over the external public footpath. RSL therefore recommends a tip reduction crown lift to approximately 2.5m above the external public footpath, removing up to approximately 1m from tips to provide an adequate and safe clearance gap of approximately 2.5m above the external public footpath, therefore clearing pedestrian head height, which the residents of 125 Yorktown Road have clearly expressed is a liability concern for them. By carrying out the above mentioned work, it will help alleviate and mitigate the health and safety issues the tree currently poses. RSL will carry out all cuts sympathetically, so that the lower canopy is shaped, rather than shape edges. All cuts will be made to BS:3998.
