T1 – Beech (Fagus sylvatica) - Reduce crown height by up to 2 metres and reduce overextended lateral growth by up to 2 metres, pruning back to suitable secondary growth points, with no cut exceeding 75mm in diameter, retaining a balanced, natural crown shape. Crown raise over the shed roof to provide up to 2 metres clearance, limited to the removal or shortening of secondary and tertiary branches only. T2 – Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris) - Crown lift by removal of overextended lower limbs back to the main stem or suitable growth points, with no cut exceeding 100mm in diameter, to reshape and maintain the natural form of the tree. Remove deadwood and rubbing/crossing branches throughout the canopy.
