Internal works to improve the internal fabric and character of the existing rear entryway. (i)Replacing the existing flag stone/ cement mortar floor in the entryway with tiles which will involve preparing an appropriate subfloor to ensure that the threshold matches that of the rest of the house once the new tiles are laid; (ii) installing period appropriate cabinets and hardware; (iii) installing Georgian cornicing and a ceiling rose; and (iv) reinstating the existing skirting or providing a faithful, period appropriate match after the flooring and cabinetry has been installed. The cabinets will be finished internally and externally in Linseed oil paint and the walls in breathable natural paint. Move an existing pair of sockets along the existing stud wall. Replace an existing vertical radiator with a floor mounted traditional radiator on the same wall where the plumbing already exists. Internal door will be re-hung to open to the other side.
