Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
T1- Cedar- Shorten a very low NorthEast limb by 7m, back to a substantial upright side branch. This limb is protruding uncomfortably close to passing and parking vehicles. Shorten 4 limbs in the lower half of the crown, by approximately 4m. These 4 lateral limbs grow on the East side, extending over the boundary hedge to Mountnessing. This work will allow more light to reach developing trees, and reduce the risk of these lateral limbs breaking in high winds. The work will additionally balance the appearance of the tree, as the West side has had the width addressed. Every effort will be made to leave ample foliage on all parts, to ensure tree health within the specification.
