Ash Trees G10 and G11 on map. Original application (T/00539/22/TCA) for which approval obtained, specified reducing these groups of ash trees to circa 7m. I have now had a close look at groups G10 and G11with Josh from Groundlord. In an attempt to limit the biodiversity loss from felling all these trees to circa 7m , as per the application, we felt it would be more appropriate (and attractive) to reduce those with little biodiversity showing in the trunk or branches down to base or hedge height but leave those with biodiversity interest at a higher height, retaining the branches where appropriate. We would also add some extra features such as bat boxes, interesting habitat for insects etc.

Removal of non-native and overgrown garden shrub at front of garden (marked A on sketch plan), as it is now interfering with electricity supply cables to houses. This also stops me being able to maintain the hedge at the front of the property facing Church Lane. This will be replaced with a native tree of smaller size.
