Planning application

Little Common Cottage Frog Lane Mapledurwell Hampshire RG25 2LJ

Granted Basingstoke and Deane T/00549/25/TCA Works to Trees - Conservation Areas

Works: Trees

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

When I checked before our local tree warden believes it to be Robinia Pseudoacacia Frisia. We have had this cut back but it grows at an alarming rate and is now closer to the house than ever blocking out the light, not in the best condition and as its close to our house and we are worried about the roots causing damage. We would like to have the tree felled and completed removed.

This is in an effort to save this tree, else it would otherwise die. We foresee at least 10 branches have died and should be removed (lower branches) T8 Conifer: fell to the ground level the multi-stemmed conifer. The tree is leaning towards the vegetable plot and has a shallow root system. It is at risk of falling, causing damage in a storm.
