Planning application
Green Hedges Weston Road Upton Grey RG25 2RJ
Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
Red Oak (T2) - remove lower two branches. Lowest branch to raise canopy. Other branch because it is catching on the telephone wire plus the telegraph pole needs to be replaced and moved and that work can't be completed safely unless the branch is removed Japanese Cherry (T5) - fell because it has low amenity value having had growth affected by ivy and overgrown shrubbery (now removed). Plus to make room for vegetable plot and compost bins (currently located by previous occupant too close to the red oak according to the expert who did the tree survey)
