Oak Tree- Quercus Robur. The mature tree requires a crown reduction during the dormant period Oct- March to reduce its height and spread by 1-1.5m depending on the area and branches and there is concern that some of the dead branches could fall in the winter period causing damage to the garages. The finished height will be 13m and spread 16.5m. Work will be carried out by a trained, insured professional. This work will: - improve the tree's health: reduce stress on branches, encourage healthy regrowth, and remove dead branches to keep the tree healthy. - reduce encroachment and keep branches from overhanging further into the adjacent property and over their garage - Improve light into the tree centre and surrounding garden areas - Create a balanced, well-structured crown that enhances the tree's appearance

Removal of a Honey Locust Tree. The tree is 3.9m from the house and 1.5m from the garage. It has a circumference of 600m at its base. It has now grown over the thatched roof and is also underneath a mature oak and is now growing upwards into the oak tree. It is approximately 5m high.

T1- Ash - Crown lift lowest branch overhanging garden. Tip reduce western side of crown growing towards house by up to c.3m ( see photo) Reason - open up garden and house to light and take branches away from roof of building. Reduce weight loading on those branches. Trunk has several holes the length of trunk that indicate a central core of decay running down its internal length thereby being a weakened structure holding weight of crown

Fell 1 conker tree at front of house. This tree has grown from an existing thick hedgerow and is causing a nuisance in respect of reduction of light to the property, roots breaking through the gravel drive and becoming close to the house, overhanging a public footpath and narrow byway potentially restricting access for vans etc and dropping large amounts of leaves and conkers that are slippery when wet. The house is otherwise surrounded by dense hedgerows and has a large oak tree. Removal of this conker tree is for good garden management and is not considered detrimental to the overall appearance of the conservation area given the high density of other vegetation within and surrounding the house.
