The damson tree has 2 trunks, A ad B, which can be seen in the attached photos - Trunk A runs SE-NW along the top of the boundary hedge at the rear of Beam Ends. In recent years it has dropped so that it now impinges on the telephone and internet cables serving The Orchard and Barn Cottage at the rear of Beam Ends. - Trunk B is much higher and is located close to a telegraph post. More importantly it hangs over the corner of Beam Ends and some of its branches in the canopy are dead. . The plan is to - Cut fallen Damson stem (Tree A) tangled in phone wires down to hedge height. 110.00 - Cut the remainder of stem adjacent to pole (Tree B) down to the height of the Ivy.
