Fell 1 conker tree at front of house. This tree has grown from an existing thick hedgerow and is causing a nuisance in respect of reduction of light to the property, roots breaking through the gravel drive and becoming close to the house, overhanging a public footpath and narrow byway potentially restricting access for vans etc and dropping large amounts of leaves and conkers that are slippery when wet. The house is otherwise surrounded by dense hedgerows and has a large oak tree. Removal of this conker tree is for good garden management and is not considered detrimental to the overall appearance of the conservation area given the high density of other vegetation within and surrounding the house.

The tree is located in close proximity to the pool and casts excessive shading. A canopy reduction would assist in more light getting through to this area and also the flower beds and hedging below. T4: Tulip tree- crown lift lower laterals to create a clearance from the top of the Yew hedge by 1m so it is able to fill out to the same height as the rest of the hedge.
