Works: Trees
Still open. Anyone can comment while the consultation period runs, and comments go to the council rather than to us.
Proposal
T1 Oak - Remove the damaged minor branch on the northern limb at approximately 9 m to reduce the risk of branch failure. • Reduce the overextended southern lateral limb by approximately 3 m to 10.6 metres, targeting suitable secondary growth points. • Reduce the eastern side of the crown by up to 4 m to 7.5 metres to lessen the easterly crown bias and improve overall crown balance. • Cyclical pruning of regrowth from previous works (carried out in April 2023) to maintain the tree at the desired size, to be completed in January 2028. • Complete the above recommended tree works by February 2027
