Planning application

Nortons, The Street, Smarden, TN27 8NB

Granted Ashford OTH/2023/0210 Tree Preservation Order - works related

Works: Trees

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

Wild service tree - proposal to reduce the crown by 2-3 metres over the whole crown to the profile suggested in the submitted photo using the previous reduction points, leaving a natural shaped crown profile. Two or three lower limbs will be shortened by a further 2-3 metres to alleviate the proximity to structures and improve the shape. This work will improve those aspects and the general health of the tree. The updated annotated photo defines the extent of the works. (Superseded spec - Wild service tree - proposal to reduce the crown by 2-3 metres over the whole crown to the profile suggested in the submitted photo, leaving a natural shaped crown profile. This work will improve those aspects and the general health of the tree.)
