Planning application
21, Lion Field, Station Road, Charing, TN27 0JA
Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
T1 - Hornbeam. - Proposed 2 metre reduction in canopy. Unusually the tree has a split trunk reducing its stability - too big a canopy the tree could be vulnerable in storms. T2. 2no Portuguese Laurels - Proposed 2 metre reduction in canopy. Planted close together, without cutting back the combined trees get too big for the space and result in excessive shading of the border underneath. T3 - Acer Griseum (Paperbark Maple) - Proposed 0.5-0.75 metre reduction in canopy. The tree is now filling the space available and needs a canopy reduction.
