Planning application

The Old Coach House, 38 High Street, Biddenden, Ashford, TN27 8AH

Granted Ashford NOT/2025/0135 Notification of proposed works to trees in a conservation area

Works: Trees

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

T1-Horse Chestnut - Reduce and thin crown by up to 3 meters from 8 metres to 5 metres. This tree has multiple stems and has been pollarded historically. We may need to remove some branches back to this point but need to try and keep a good shape and screen. Until we start work and climb the tree to inspect the old cuts we won’t know the extent of the reduction needed
