Removal of Norway spruce that was originally planted for use as a household Christmas tree (see attached map ??? labelled T1). This tree is growing very close to my domestic Klargester/septic tank system. I was advised by Ashfield Effluent that the tree roots might be at risk of damaging the Klargester/septic tank if the tree is not cut down. Removal of a multi-trunk sycamore tree which is restricting the growth of an adjacent specimen native silver birch (see attached map ??? labelled T2). Both trees are full within my property. neither tree is subject to a TPO. The trees cannot be seen from neighbouring properties or from any roads or footpaths.

Hearthstones Top Lane Whatstandwell Matlock Derbyshire DE4 5EN

T1. To remove the large Ash tree located at the very top of your rear garden on the left hand side. This tree is suffering heavily from Ash dieback. T2. To remove the large Ash tree located at the very top of your rear garden on the right hand side. This tree has minor signs of Ash dieback but overhangs the summer house and seating area in the rear garden and has already shed some large branches. It may be necessary to drop some of the branches of this tree into the neighbouring field and permission of the farmer must be sort for entry before any work takes place. Whilst great care and skill will be taken whilst dismantling this tree, damage to the underlying dry stone wall may be inevitable when taking the main stem down.

Tower Cottages Rear Of Chapel 1 Sun Lane Crich Matlock Derbyshire DE4 5BR

Stem reduction to 1m high from a mature multistem tree sycamore. Removal of a decaying trunk, this is 1 of several trunks growing from ground level, one has rotted and fallen into the neighbours garden and a second appears to have some decay, this trunk is leaning forwards the house and requires reducing to reduce the likelihood of collapse. No evident decay at the base/ butt , however its difficult to tell. I suggest removal of 1 trunk leaning towards the house, ivy covered.

Other trees in require application to DCC. Requesting to remove ash, silver birch and conifer hedge shown in photographs 3,4 and 5. They have all been planted far too close to each other and as a result are all poor specimens. Also the ash has dieback. The benefit to removing these trees is that it will create space for the oak tree highlighted in photograph 5 which is a good specimen to continue to grow as well as maintaining the boundary between the two properties.

Ash (T1 / TPO 118) - Fell because of ash dieback. Tree T1/TPO-118 has ash dieback disease - this was identified by Andy Harrison (AA Tree Surgeons, 3 Derby Road, Ripley, Derbyshire) at a site inspection on Thursday 1st July 2021. Ash dieback is also evident in other neighbouring trees. Tree T1 is a large tree in an elevated position, in close proximity to residential housing and a main road with frequent car and pedestrian traffic. A new dwelling is also about to be developed on the plot and consequently there will be people on-site and working in close proximity to the tree from August-21 for the next 12-14 months. We have been advised by AA Tree Surgeons that the disease will take its course over the next two seasons and accordingly this tree now presents an elevated risk to the neighbourhood and people on-site. They have recommended that the appropriate action is to bring the tree ground level. Given the location of the site and the proximity of other properties we do not feel it would be appropriate to plant a large-specimen replacement tree on the same plot. We are open to replacing with a smaller variety of tree or alternatively seeking an alternative public location in the village where a protected replacement tree could be enjoyed by the village in the coming decades.

The ash tree I am applying to remove comes under the group TPO for Dukes Quarry. It is identified in the photographs provided. I am applying for it to be removed as it is heavily weighted over the property of Standwell house and access to it is limited to on foot. I have worked extensively on trees with ash dieback over the last 18 months and they are both incredibly dangerous and unpredictable and in my experience safest to work on as soon as signs of the disease are identified. Due to its location and lack of access I am applying to remove it while it is safe to climb and dismantle being proactive rather than reactive to it when the disease has fully taken hold. We would be happy to replant with a suitable replacement such as small leaf lime but are happy to listen to your recommendations.

Felling of 1 ash tree growing in the base of the retaining wall supporting main road. The tree is located close to the phone pole on the road edge identified by the bulges in the wall and the untrimmed ivy on the wall. This wall is unstable, probably caused by the tree, the rest of the wall had to be rebuilt previously and the owner is particularly concerned about this section of wall.
