After consultation with professional arborist - it is proposed to prune the tree in order to maintain the balance of the crown by reducing it by 20% and back to previous pruning points. The Acer is 7 metres tall, and 6 metres wide and we wish to remove 1 metre from top growth - leaving the tree 6 metres tall after pruning.
