We would then be erecting a 2m high retaining wall with pocket planting and a wooden framed carport with a living roof. We have already planted two oak trees and a silver birch further up the garden to replace the ones to be removed. We have also planed a 9m length of native hedgerow to benefit and encourage the visiting wildlife and intend to plant further native trees within the protected area.
