Coppice Reasons: The south facing garden of the property is situated on acute slope down to Rock Walk. There are no significant tree specimens within the property boundary that are protected by the TPO (1965.005). There are concerns over the influence of damage by T2 to the retaining wall adjacent to Rock Walk (See photographs).

to submit a Reg 14 exception for the removal of a suppressed Ash tree located in the grounds of the Templestowe Hotel in Torquay. 14 (1)(a)(ii) in compliance with any obligation imposed by or under an Act of Parliament or so far as may be necessary for the prevention or abatement of a nuisance; Whilst the tree is not immediately dangerous it is implicated in the blocking of main foul drainage for the hotel and currently the drains have to be cleared weekly. It is inevitable that the tree will have to be removed in order to remedy the situation given its location, acute lean and poor form.
