FIVE DAY NOTICE T81 - Lime - tree dangerous and leaning over a well used pedestrian path and should be felled immediately.

T1 - Clump of Cypress starting to break up and fall apart - fell. T2 & T3 - Low branches on spreading cypress near wall with cricket field causing a nuisance to visitors to the graves beneath. Careful removal of low branches back to main trunk, to leave single straight stemmed tree. Raise canopy by removing lower branches by 3 to 4 metres. T4 - Tidy up clump of spreading Yews, removing Elder, broken and hanging branches etc. T5 - Oak on Prebendal side of churchyard. Surgery to remove lower branches above benches to allow better access around this tree and so it develops a better shape for location by graves. Raise canopy by removing lower branches by 3-4m. T6-11 - The line of 6 spreading Hornbeams, remove dead branches over paths. Some careful thinning of weaker branches and reduction to maintain well balanced trees and spread of trees. Reduce tips of branches which are touching the church. Keep well balanced shape of trees. T12 - Tall Conifer in the corner close by the church has lost its top in the past and has regrown, tree in a very shady corner. Raise canopy by removing lower branches by 3-4m. T13 - Tall Conifer, opposite tree 12 close to church. Raise canopy by removing lower branches by 3-4m. T14 - Holly - remove deteriorating upper section and lower branches to get better balanced tree. T15 - Yew - further along from trees 2 & 3 by the cricket field. Remove broken limbs, retain good shape. T16 - Tidy up broken and damaged branches to improve appearance. T17 - Tidy up broken and damaged branches to improve appearance. T18 - Box - cut ivy at base, monitor to see if tree recovers. Remove low hanging branches. Lime trees (approx 90 trees) - repollard back to original pollard point. Limes actively managed pollard having been done in December 2018. Fell two weak Lime trees suffering from basal decay. At risk of collapse. Encourage development of coppice regrowth, single shoots to develop the strongest straightest new growth into replacement tree.
